Subject: march pulleys IP: Logged
Message: I've got a 5.2 liter engine in my Dakota i can't use the march pulley for my water pump because the waterpump from the dodge dealership the pulley is pressed on. So i'm going to run the march crank pulley and the alternator pulley.I was wondering which belt I should use or does anybody have part number. Or the part number for the March 3 pulley part number I don't have it because I bought the pulleys used. I contacted March and they told me to use the stock belt with the three pulleys is that correct? Any help will be appreciated.

Message: Pressed on water pump pulley??? Never saw one on a 5.2. Power steering pulley, yes, but not a water pump. Unbolt the fan and it should come off. You may need to use the force technique. Later...

Message: Sorry, but wrong on that one. Dodge changed to a pressed on pulley on the water pump around 98. Many of the aftermarket pulleys from Autozone, etc are also pressed on. I think Napa sells one with a bolt on pulley. My 92 has a bolt on, but my 2000 has a pressed on pulley.
I have the Gates part number at home to use the crank and alt only.
