Subject: Timing off in the morning? IP: Logged
Message: Ok, here it is. Its been getting worse, but it originally started only when it rained. Id get in the truck and try starting it. It would crank and crank until eventually it starts, but when it does it sounds like i have a HUGE cam in it. Sometimes, it wouldnt start at all, but stutter when i stop trying to start it. Any explanation? please help.

Message: Yeah, it's a fuel problem not your ignition. Read this: http://www.dodgedakota.net/boards/v8/8897.html

Message: May be your MAP sensor. I just had to replace mine. Truck would lope when first started and bog when you tried to accelerate. Replaced MAP and problem went away.
