hey everyone im lookin at sellin my 85 vette cuz its slow and i sick of it cant tow jet ski and getting a dakota i need to find some reliable stats on these heres what i think i want
92-93 dakota 5.2 v8 5 speed short bed regular cab i need to know stock 0-60 and quarter times Im trying to find the curb weight as well i read 3000lbs on consumerguide.com but it didnt say what engine also how much weight does club cab add im looking to achieve 13 sec quarter miles bottom line i want to beat stock lightnings i figure intake manifold and filter, headers, exhaust, chip ought to get me to 275 hp a 75 hp shot of nitrous could also help add to that or
i also have a 360 cube crate motor with like 360 hp will these bolt in???? also how tough is the 5 speed vs the auto any answers opinions will be greatly appreciated feel free to email me

If my memory serves me correct you cannot get a 92-93 5.2 with a 5 speed, only an auto. I don't know 0-60 times but a RC 5.2 should be in the low 15's. A 92' CC weighs about 4200#'s. A regular cab should weigh in at about 3800-3900#'s.
I don't think your going to get 275 HP with just those mods for the 5.2. You should be looking for 1.7 roller rockers and a new cam for that.
The 360 will bolt in, do a search on the site to see the things that have to be changed.

the junkyard near my has a 92 reg cab 5.2 5 speed. It was t-boned.

not to sound rude but i dont think the first gen dakotas are that heavy has anyone put there dakota on a scale
im trying to get some more opinions if possible

The GVWR on my 02 2wd short bed V8 is 5000lbs. I'd say he's pretty close on his estimates. 13's will take some work on that truck. My 300 horse z28 (around 3500lbs.) ran 13.6's with a chip and the cat cut out. You would be looking at heads, cam, and pcm mods among others to achieve 13's in my opinion. Plus...you said you wanted to tow. Are you towing or drag racing? They get built differently.

Not sure if it is what you are looking for, but I'm selling my '02
4.7L. The only permormance parts are a flowmaster cat back and a
K&N. It has 42K miles on it and I'm asking $13500.
