If you install anything of the Polish persuasion, it will always run bad.

Sorry, couldn't resist that one.

Not much info there to really say - is your cam well matched to your other mods and gearing ? How did you select it ? Definitely not enough info to blame it on the intake.

I dont see a a computer reflash or injectors in that list. That could be your main problem.

Big throttle body, big intake, ported heads, big cam. All that equates to high rpm power and a loss of low rpm torque. What do the numbers say?

Yep, You could also use a stall converter, maybe a 3000 stall. Your RPM range has been moved up. Did you use different spring rated up to 6000 RPM??

You would have to give a lot more info for a good answer. Remember, bigger is not always better. The performance parts you install, or the stock parts you modify need to be "matched" to run properly. If you just go and hog out your heads and throw in a huge cam you almost sure to lose power somewhere. The parts have to work together. And like what was mentioned...gears, stall, etc...all play a big role also. ESPECIALLY ON COMPUTER CONTROLLED VEHICLES!!! Tuning, "PCM program modification", is probably most important!

I'd say your mods outdo your tuning. You need a custom fuel map. Find a programmer and give him ALL of your specs, anything you can think of and more, and have him custom tune your PCM. Best advice I can give you. Good luck!

A cam needs to be matched to much more than an intake - weight of vehicle and gearing are among two of the more important considerations. It is very doubtful that intake is to blame; many do well using that intake on fairly unmodified engines just to get away from belly pan gasket problems with the stock intake.

Unfortunatly, your friend doesn't know what he's talking about. You can't apply carb thinking to EFI technology, just doesn't work.

Pay attention to what's being said above. You bolt on all the right parts, but the key is in the tuning. With EFI, that means reprogramming. If you havn't done it, get thee to thy dyno. Once you get it tuned for best power, then you can match the converter stall and the rear gear to the power band.

why such big injectors?? 19lb injectors can support up to 400 hp with proper tuning..
