Message: Hello McFly!!!! Precious metal electrode spark plugs are not intended to improve performance. They are designed to extend service interval. If you have a decent double platinum plug you can leave it in there 100,000 miles and never worry about haveing to clean them or change them. If you have copper you have to clean and gap on a regular basis and replace more frequently. Know there some thin electrode iridium plugs that reguire 30% less power to fire so in essence you get 30% more spark to your cylinder with your stock coil. The down side to these thin electrode iridiums is they have a short life on par with copper plugs. Regular sized center electrode iridium plugs are used on the Lexus and they are guranteed to last a minium of 140,000 miles. I used to run bosch single platinum plugs for 50,000-80,000 then throw them away. I never had a bosch platinum foul.

Message: I put them in at about 12,000 miles and my idle went from 700rpm to about 550-600rpm. Everything else felt the same, I will probably buy them again.

Message: The Platinum +4's only help if you buy the 8mm wires and the bosch coil. If you do that they can add 5-10HP.
