Nah, I didn't notice that it ran any better under any conditions. I knew that I was running rich due to all of the black soot that was collecting in my exhaust tips. Sometimes when I didn't wash my truck for awhile, the soot would collect around the exhaust tip on the outside edge.

I was reading some of the post on this topic and I'm trying to diagnos a CE Engine Light. I get code P0106. Is the error code signs of a faulty MAP sensor??
