Subject: Check Engine IP: Logged
Message: My check engine light came on after a loss of power and I got the check engine code. I have a misfire on cyl #1. What could i do to fix this??

Message: A misfire can be caused by a lot of things. I would start by checking compression, read the plugs, and check for spark. Could be something as simple as a broken plug wire, or as bad as a broken ring.

Message: My check engine light came on and had the missing also. It turned out to be that a rodent had chewed a couple injector wires off.

Message: Did you find out the fault from your Check Engine Light? You can find that out at Auto Zone, Advance Auto etc. Many of the auto parts places will check them for free.
