Subject: water under driverside front tire IP: Logged
Message: I have a 97 5.2L 4x4 and I have noticed what appears to be water on the ground beside the driver side front tire and when I cleaned it out on the weekend the floor was a bit damp. Does any know what this might be
thanks

Message: First thing I would check is to see which side your radiator drain is on. Usually on the Front Drivers side. If you have a Repair Manual I would check to see where the freeze plug is, it may be leaking. It could also be one of your hoses or even a leaking head gasket.

Message: Had this happen to me, but not sure on the 5.2L I have a 4.7L and what it was the battery was cracked and leaked the water/acid out of it near
the drivers tire.
