I just got done talking to Sam from socaldakotas.com He is going to start powdercoating valve covers for 4.7 engines. I will be getting the first set in intense blue. I'll keep everyone posted on cost in the next few weeks. There will be a core refund also to keep the prices down.

Blue is cool. But would not match ANYTHING with my Graphite truck :(
Show some pix when you get them.

Sounds great. I spray painted my covers red during the HO cam swap. So far, so good. What I did notice is that the texture of the surface is random: slick or grainy. Maybe powder coating will be a more consistent finish.

KRC is powdercoating abd/or painting valve covers also.
I think the ones Marty showed me were powdercoated because I remember him saying something abouot not being able to do later model ones because they were platic.
