Subject: Can I get some help IP: Logged
Message:
OK got a 2002 5.9 QC dak 71k miles
This only happens when its very hot above 90 and in direct sunlight my instrument panal lights all up and gages go dead over console temp go blank and where milage should be displayed I get No Buss and the AC blows out hot air, After a few min driving getting some air flow the faults slowly go away. Not sure if the direct sunlight really has anything to with it but it seems like it does. Took to dealer and after a 70 dollar Milking and we need 2 more Hrs to milk you some more and out the door I went with no answers not to sure I want to bother this is an intermittent problem. ANy help would be great.

Message: I did a search on NO BUSS, and learned it has something to do with a bad, or no connection to the pcm. I would start with an easy check of your pcm connections, may get some contact cleaner and spray them down. Good luck. Maybe someone else more knowledgeable on the subject could chime in.
