I checked at my local Goodyear dealer today, and all the 255/65/16 yellow letter Eagle #1's are all gone. He even checked corporate, and all are gone nationally. I plan to buy some R/T or Centerline billets and store the black OEMs and Eagle #1's for shows and future resale; for history's sake.

I just purchased a New Left over Motorsports Edition Dak in April 2003. Mine is Black with 4.7 auto with cruise, tilt, buckets, and West Wing spoiler. I have put 3300 miles on it, with a smile in each mile. I have a 97 Dak, but the 2001 is my pride and joy. I have checked on the tires also, I am sad to hear the Yellow letter tires are all gone, they do set off the truck.

Good to hear from you, Black Sheep. Do you have a regular, club or quad cab? Check the original Motorsports post on the General Board. I'll put it on page 1 again for you. A few good pics. Check the Eagle #1's thread for maintenance tips.

I need new tires on my Motorsports Edition. Not happy to see they quit making those tires. I got my spare tire with Yellow Lettering, and not another new one to go with it.
Anyone want to sell their spare? LOL

For what it's worth, there's a red reg cab Motorsports Edition running around my town. Nice truck! Except that it looks too much like mine. :-)

I was told by the parts man at Bosier Dodge in College Station, Texas, that there is a 305hp Dakota Motorsports Edition. They made 52. My Title says I have #7. Who knows??? But it sure is fast!

My Red Road Hugger has the 4.7, auto, no fancy power windows or locks, has the 3.55 rear end, 1850rpm stall converter, and the double cold air induction with 1 flowmaster that has dual 2&3/4"exhausts that dump just before the differetial. The little screamer shifts at 5900. I'm going to try taking the abs fuse out to see if the 118mph limiter will bypass.
