Message: The Dakota R/T has the same cam as all the other 360's.
The cam from a 360 will fit but it is a milder cam than the one in the 318.

Message: It's called the Magnum RT cam. It's hotter than the two stock Magnum engined-cams.

Message: --jayb-- The cams in the regular 360 and R/T 360 are the same. Mopar does offer a R/T cam that is better than stock. It is a direct fit. But if your in the market for a better cam contact Marty at KRC he has better cams and can help you pick the right one for your setup

I have no idea why the call it a "Magnum R/T Cam." It is simply a performance cam offered by Mopar for either the 5.2 or 5.9 engine.

Message: N56629, Back in the gen II days, there was a package you could get from mopar performance that consisted of the R/T cam, MPC and Exhaust, It was called the R/T package. It was not a package to order with your truck peurchase, just the name of the upgrade kit for the magnum engines, like "turbo Toys" is for the SRT-4. This was before you could get a 360 in a dak, and before the R/T Dak was introduced.
