I actually read the bottle and it (STP) said to add to full tank. The MM didn't say. I added both and will probably add the next time before filling as I agree with you that the mixing would appear better that way. That is unless it is slightly heavier than gas in which case you give it a head start to the bottom of the tank.

Hopefully this will resolve the issues and you won't hear me asking anymore fuel dropping questions.

It should solve your pressure bleed off problem but I doubt it will help with the high pressure problem.

I would guess your right on that but I will deal with that when it comes. Or that is my plan for now anyways.

Thanks for the help so far and I will be waiting for the additives to do their thing. To bad gas is so high or I would just burn it up to speed up the process.

I am curious, did it work? Having the same problems with my 02, having to hold the key for a good 10-15 seconds as I floor the gas, then she starts up.

Jack it didn't work for me.

As for you holding the key that long I would be cautious. What I do is turn the key forward for about 2-3 seconds (not turning over the motor) and then off and back on another 2-3 then off and on again. I turn it on for a total of 3/4 times each about 3 seconds. I did this in the garage and can hear the pump building pressure so I turn it off when the pump does the autoshut off. On mine this is about the same time as it takes for one of the lights to go off. I can't recall which one anymore as now I just know the rough time frame I know the seat belt is usually about twice as long as it is still buzzing after the second turn. Holding the key forward (without turning over) wont do anything after the first couple seconds you will have to turn it off and then back on. You also have to leave it off for a second or so. I tried to be to quick with that and it wouldn't pump then either.

Good luck and I will probably let you all know when I change the pump as it will have to leave me dead until I fix it as the additional time to start it isn't worth me spending hundreds of dollars to fix it when I know a way around it.
