Message: Ok guys, i am planning on selling my mustang soon and getting a Dakota. I am looking for either a 99+ V8 5 speed 4x4 or a 99+ R/T. I am very excited to be getting this new ride, but my question is, what is the best exhaust setup to get on either one of these rides. I want a less.....truckish sound (for lack of better words) this guy i have seen around has a 99+ V8 and he has an exhaust system that sounds amazing, it sounds more like a mustang than a truck and was just wondering what a good setup would be....thanks guys,
and im glad to be getting back into a dakota again :-P

Message: I have owned three mustangs; an 89 5.0GT, a 98 Cobra, and I currently have a 65 Coupe. All of them had 40 series flowmasters(2Chambers). I am sorry and I hope I don't get flamed but in my opinion nothing sounds better than the Ford small blocks as far as modern street production cars are concerned. Right now I am running 2 chamber flows on my Dak and it sounds good but it's nowhere near the SB Fords.
Here's my current project, it has a 500 lift cam and long tubes straight through to 2 chamber flows....needless to say, it sounds mean.
