Subject: 4 X 4 Gears IP: Logged
Message: Where can I get gears for a 2001 4X4, these only fit 2000-2003 trucks. Maybe some 99's for the rear only.
I run into incorrect parts all the time on this thing, heck can't even get the right rad. hoses from auto parts for this truck. Autozone is the worst I think though for this. Napa seems better on most things but even their listings aren't always correct.
Thanks,
Jeff

They did my gears and I love it!. I went with the 4:10's for the rear, and 4:11's on the front. They work great.

Message: What year was yours? What size for the front since it is a 205mm and they don't list that.
I think I called them (pretty sure that's who I called) yesterday, but their expert wasn't there and the one I talked to wasn't positive on the application.
Only gears made for 2000-2003 will fit, but I will call and check again.
thanks!

Message: My truck is a 2004. The front is a 205mm. The invoice after the gear change listed it as a Chry 8". They didnt seem to have any problems finding the right gears for me. Give them the V.I.N. for your vehicle and they should be able to find the right ones.

Message: 205mm = 8". You may see it listed as 8" corporate; I think one site I found them at was something like accuautoparts before I bought some from a member here. I went with 4.10s, could easily see going deeper if running oversized tires.
Lead, follow, or get out of the way
