97 slt 5.2 RWD 114,000 miles.
When I turn my rt turn signal on it blinks rapidly maybe triple the speed of the left turn signal which is about the speed the cursor blinks in this window I am typing in right now....anyway does anyone know why my right turn signal is doing this? This is a recent occurance.

When I've had something like this happen to me it usually means the bulb is blown.

when i got in my accident mine did it too. i liked it flashing faster it looked better so i did it to the other side. it was caused by the broken bulb .

ah the infamous "chink blink". Yep it is probably just a bad bulb. Turn your blinkers on and walk to the front and back of your truck. If one is burnt out, there is your problem.

Sounds a lot like a similar problem I had with my '99 Clubcab, but it wasn't a bulb. Wound up being the entire turn signal "module" inside the steering wheel.

Well checked it out and the bulbs are fine...must be the turn signal module Pacman is talking about?
I will have to look more into the signal module...
If I turn the hazard blinkers on they blink normal..I don't know....It kinda annoying but I guess it is still serving its purpose..
