Hey does anyone know if a 235/75/15 tire will fit on a stock ride height R/T, I have a set of factory 15x8 wheels. Last winter sucked and I want to go with an all-terrain tire this year. I might have to go with a 215/75/15, but would really like to use a 235/75/15. Stock 255/55/17 are 28.04" tall and 10.03" wide. The 235/75/15 tires are 28.87" tall and 9.25" wide. If anyone has tried this let me know, thanks!

I think they will fit without a problem. You are going less than an inch taller, and 3/4" narower. On my 4x4 I went from a 30" tall tire to a 32" tall tire with no problems. If youre really in doubt, have the tire shop do a test fit.

Thanks, Chris. It seemed like there should be enough wheel well left in there with the stock tires...
