Subject: Found a 5.9! IP: Logged
Message: Hey everyone, i've just got a couple questions for you masterminds. I found an old 360 at a barn i had to clean out the other week and i dove right into it, not knowing that it was a 360, just saw the mopar emblem and i was all for it. Anyways, i found out that its a 360 from 71' to 74' and now im questioning how much work it'll be to get that beast into my 95' 3.9 5 speed kota. I've also got a rebuilt 727 tourque flight in my garage, any info on what all im gonna have to do to make this swap work would be greatly appreciated. thanks a lot

Message: I've looked into doing this swap before and if I was going to do it I would either use the wiring harness out of a early carburated Dakota or use a Painless wiring kit. Aftermarket gauges are a must, even if I could make the factory gauges work I would not trust them.
