Subject: ASP Underdrive Pulleys IP: Logged
Message: Has anybody here tried these. I did a search and alot of people said they were getting them but nobody ever follows up. I hear some people say they discharge your battery to quickly but I have the heavy duty tow package which comes with a huge battery and an upgraded alt too I think. Also im getting 4.10 gears to keep those rpms up. Any input would be apreciated.

Message: the problem with UD pulleys is at idle. No stock alt is adequate if you spend a great deal of time in stop and go traffic. Gears have no effect either. Most alternators do not put out a full charge at idle. When you put on a UD pulley, the alt spins slower. Not so much of a problem at speed but it is at idle. The truck has to rely on the battery for full power.

Message: Well so much for that idea. Thanx for the info ill just have to find some other place to squeze the power out this thing from. I hope the 4.10s are all they have cracked up to be. If not for the track than at least for fun. As for the gears i was thinking they raise my rpms quite a bit so it would charge better when I was moving. But charging problems or not i def dont what my S#?$ broke.

Message: I already got the ho cams in. I hardly ever go over 80 so i was hoping the 4.10s would be alright. Mostly city driven and I dont think it would hurt me much on the highway. It is also an auto. :(
Anybody know where to get 4.10s for the 9.25 cheap.
