Subject: 318 exhaust IP: Logged
Message: I have a 99 4x4 dakota with a 318. I am looking at replacing the exhaust. I would like a deeper tone but not real loud and maybe pick up a few HP. Any recomendations??? Also what other mods can be done to help with performance?

Message: Magnaflow has a good tone, not raspy or overly loud like most of the Flowmasters.

Message: I am leaning towards the magnaflow. I like the idea of it being stainless steel. Anyone know where I can find the best price on it?

Message: If its the loudest you want, go with a flowmaster 40 series original flows, single in dual out, and put a set of turn downs on it, a high flow cat, (carsound has the best) would improve on that too, thats the exact setup i have on my 97 5.2 4x4 cc
