I have a 99 4x4 dakota with a 318. I am looking at replacing the exhaust. I would like a deeper tone but not real loud and maybe pick up a few HP. Any recomendations??? Also what other mods can be done to help with performance?

Magnaflow has a good tone, not raspy or overly loud like most of the Flowmasters.

Been happy with my Gibson catback system. It sounds good, but not too noisy. Have had alot of compliments. ( 98 5.2 )

I am leaning towards the magnaflow. I like the idea of it being stainless steel. Anyone know where I can find the best price on it?

If its the loudest you want, go with a flowmaster 40 series original flows, single in dual out, and put a set of turn downs on it, a high flow cat, (carsound has the best) would improve on that too, thats the exact setup i have on my 97 5.2 4x4 cc
