Subject: u joint part # IP: Logged
Message: does any one know what the part # is for the u joint@ the rear end on a 1991 4x4 5.2 cc with alum drive shaft. mine went out and i'm gonna have to send some one to napa in the morning while i'm at work to pick one up. always seem to break down when the real part stores are closed!!!! cross shafts on joint are two different lengths. yoke on driveshaft is ext retained,internal clips on rearend yoke. any help much apreciated!

Message: Not certain myself, but the Autozone online catalog lists the same part number for both lengths. I tried Napa but their site appears to be down. Might also check Rockauto.com, O'Reilly's and Advance Auto Parts.

Message: thanks i checked the napa cat earlier they list one i think might be what i need but it says for a '3 joint shaft'. do some daks have mid shaft bearings?
thanks but no thanks for the suggestion but orieleys autozone and advance can't seem to understand the joint is not the same on both sides.Mabey thiat is where mickey dees employies go when they burn one too many baskets of fries.
