Message: Step 1- Get a Haynes manual for your vehicle. No sane person should be without a manual of some sort if they are going to be fooling around with their vehicles. I like doing my own work so I have one for just about every vehicle that I've ever owned. It saves me the embarrasment of asking basic maintenance questions.
Step 2- Use it.

Message: go to dodgetalk.com and search for TPS mod. It will show detail of the mods people are doing. Pictures are there too. This will show you how to check it. The primary symptom of it going bad is rough idling. This is also the primary culprit. I've talked to a number of folks, and the TPS mod is not recommended, since it's a temp. gain, especially for the 4.7 motors.
