Subject: Bucking...water in gas?? IP: Logged
Message: I have a '99 5.2, 4x4 5-speed. I've noticed since the weather has become hot that the truck "bucks" during light acceleration or maintaining speed...usually around 2,000 rpm. It seems to be worse during warm-up, but that could be my imagination. At first I thought it might be water in the gas tank from condensation or a bad fill-up or something, but I've gone through 5 or 6 tanks of gas since it first started (draining them almost to the bottom before refill) and it hasn't really improved. On acceleration and deceleration, it's fine. I replaced both O2 sensors about a month ago when I first noticed the problem, but nothing changed. Anyone have any suggestions???
Thanks in advance!

Message: Thanks...I did. But I don't know if a '92 and a '99 are similar enough to compare. Also, mine doesn't just happen at highway speed, but in any gear at any speed.
