Subject: hard to start (fuel filter) IP: Logged
Message: I just put in new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. I put in a can of injector cleaner to the fuel and ran a tank of gas. Now old blue is hard to start. After rolling over for a while it starts.Once it fires it runs great. Thats why I was asking about the fuel fliter. Help please! thanks

Message: Gas quality plays a part in this.
Recommend Chevron, Texaco or Shell.
They each have additives to help keep your fuel system clean.

Message: have you checked the fuel pressure at the schrader valve on the fuel rail? check it running and check it after to see if it holds. if you have good pressure but it doesn't hold it could be the fuel check or injectors.
