Message: 1. Unplug the sensor
2. Find deep socket of appropriate size
3. attach the socket to an extention of around 6 inches and then attatch this combination to your favorite ratchet
4. click the ratchet into the "unscrew" position (so it applies the torque in the counterclockwise direction)
5. Unscrew the offending sensor and watch coolant spill everywhere
6. Start new sensor in threads by hand, or remove extention/socket combination from wrench and use that
7. Reattach ratchet to extention/socket and tighten (clockwise) new sensor
8. Reconnect sensor
9. Remove radiator cap and replace lost coolant, then put the cap back on
10. Start your Dakota and see if you did everything right, if not, isolate yourself from others and ponder your pointless existence.
Okay, so most of this was a joke, but I hope it helps!

Message: you might want to put some PST or teflon tape on the new sensors' threads first.
