I just got a 97 dakota 4x4 5.2l. When I start it first thing in the morning it has kind of faint turbo sound like a whistle. It goes away after about 5 minutes. Anybody have a clue

I have a 99,4x4 with 5.2L that was doing about the same thing. Check the fan to see if it is loose. Could be your water pump.
