i finally took off my factory exhaust on my 2002 4.7 cc auto dak. i bolted up a 40 series flow with a turn down and it sound great. not to loud but not as loud as i thought it was going to be. it's nice and mellow. i think i need to rig up a hanger for the muffler becuase it can move up and down a bit. getting the old mffler off was a pain in the a$$. i was going to use my torch and cut it off but ran out of oxygen after i lit it up. so i fired up the air compressor and used an air chisel and a pipe splitter. presto it's off and the flow was bolted on. suprisingly swearing was only involved once when i busted my nuckle getting the nuts free on the factory exgaust clamp. all in all i am happy with the end result. sorry for being long winded i really needed to vent some steam. oh ya it took me a little over an hour to do.

Right on! Enjoy the Flowmaster, i have the 50 series on both my Daks, i love em.
