Hey,
I'm just wondering what everyone's Fav. Mod has been and why. I haven't done much yet, but I really like the K&N cold air intake. For the Few Mods I have done, this one has brought me the most noticable gain so far.

the mod, that I would say that has given me the most noticable gain, and low end grunt would be the Jeep HO Cams. those things really add a good kick to the already peppy 4.7L.

I second the HO Cams - really woke up the motor IMO.
'01 4.7L, JBA headers, dumped Flowmaster 40series, cleaned up TB,,,some intake thingy...and other schtuff.

Seems like the flash I got woke the truck up as much as the cams; both good mods for the $$$. No complaints about the LSD & 4.10s either.

I've only done 2 mods ;) But mine would have to be my dual stainless and Magnaflow muffler. Not a big power gain, but damn, I love that sound! nothin like a V8 rumble :)

HO cams top my list as well. I have a homebrew air intake with alloy 3" tubes using a K&N drop-in, "true" 68mm TB mod, and Flowmaster 70 cat-back duals. After the HO cams, by far the best mod was replacing the crappy factory Y-pipe and 2" post-manifold pipes with 2 1/2", and 2 1/2" into 3" Magnaflow Y-pipe into a 3" Carsound catalytic converter. Performance AND mpg both improved.

The best mods i've done was my Paxton supercharger! Next mods will probably be a shift kit, torq converter and a new set of cams...
