Grady, thanks for your comments.
Autolite sparkplugs will restore pep if the original plug is worn out beyond use. If you replace a "good condition" spark plugs with new ones, you may not notice any improvement in performance.
Still, you chose wisely on the 5224 Autolite sparkplug.

Your failure to diagnose my dilemma has left me in a state of neglect. Another possibility that new plugs in my car failed to create any more horsepower would be that they reside in a set of 2 -4pack boxes in my back seat, club cab you know. They have yet to be installed, therefore they cannot by any conceivable means make more power. Nice try Master Autolite.
Yes, the fumes will make you crazy...

Fibber McGee and Molly was on the air from 1935-1959. It premiered on April 16, 1935 and was on the air regularly (with the exception of a year period in 1956-57) until September 6, 1959.
Harlow Wilcox was the announcer of the show for its entire half-hour run. This included delivering all the commercials and being integrated into the storylines. Wilcox would simply appear in the context of the show and work the sponsor's product into whatever topic or situation was being discussed. The show was sponsored by Johnson's Wax.
Harlow wasted no time in linking his sponsor's products to the topic at hand. One would suspect that Wilcox had an obsession with Johnson's Self-polishing Glo-Coat. In this way the show had no commercial breaks because the plugs by "Harpo", or "Waxy" as Fibber called him were usually quite funny and part of the show. As Harlow gave his pitch you could hear Fibber and Molly groaning in the background, fully regretting that they had said whatever it was that triggered something in Harlow, setting him loose with his spiel. In the same way that Don Wilson was a part of the Jack Benny Show, Harlow was an integral part of the Fibber McGee and Molly Show.

Install a set of Autolites today......and notice all around improved performance and reliability.
Get rid of those worn out OEM sparkplugs and go for a set of Autolites, be it regular, resistor, or Platinum, there is an Autolite sparkplug for your application.
Start right, use Autolite!
