Subject: Shifting Q after plenum gasket fixed IP: Logged
Message: I just changed my plenum and intake gaskets on my 99 318 Dak. What a fun job that is. I took the truck for a test drive, and so far so good, no spark knock or lack of power. But, there has been a change in my shift points. 1st to 2nd winds up a lot longer than before. 2nd to 3rd seems to be a little longer, but not that noticeable. I'm not sure why the change as I didn't take anything else a part. Please help!!

Message: the shift linkage on my 94 has adjustment near the mount on the TB. you push on the button to adjust home position. that will cause your symptom.
