Im wondering how a dual exhaust on a 5.2 dak would sound. My uncle keeps tellin me not to do it cause my truck would sound like a pissed off bumble bee. Is that true?

It is a powerful bee your uncle has seen or heard.No it is not so it is just great sound but depends of what kind a muffler you will use.Flowmaster Borla or som like it

yo i got dual exhaust on my 5.2 and it sounds awesome! all i get is compliments on it. i would recomend it

Got a Gibson catback on my 98 5.2. Sounds good in my opinion, but not obnoxiously loud like some you hear.

I put true duals on my 5.2 and it rumbled really bad - I have since added the cross piece between the two exhaust pipes (before the mufflers) and it not only smoothed out the rumble but it also improved the performance of the motor.
