 Subject: ring an pinion fight..ugly

Last sunday i was coming home with my usual rear end whine. i was planning on rebuilding it eventually (really i was) but it decided to not wait. i was cruisin about 30mph an i down shifted into 3rd an i heard a beautiful (sarcasm) clanking noise...turns out my pinion bearing was making the noise an since i waited so damn long it finally gave out an the ring an pinion ate each other up. oh well. BUT now i got a reason to put in a locker an some new gears. it had 3.92's so i think i'm gonna go with 4.10s now. ahhh the smell of gear lube in the morning. oh yeah the point of this... fix it BEFORE it breaks lol
