 Subject: Tire Size Change and Speedo question.

I have a '97 Sport 4X4 with a 5.2L V8.
It's 235-75-15 tires are getting thin, and I have a set of 30-9.50-15 tires that I kept from my Jeep that I sold.
I asking advice about speedo recalibration if I switch to the slightly larger tire.
Is my speedo electronic or is it mechanical?
What recommendations can I get for recalibrating my speedo with the new larger tires?

get a hypertech power programmer you can change tire size everyday if you wanted. you should be able to fin one for $350 maybe if you find a really good deal $310. or get one used off ebay.

Why worry about it? There is only a 2.5 mph difference between the two sizes.
