That usually means the crancase pressure is too high. Is the PCV working correctly?

I check the pcv and it sounds like it is chirping, time for a replacement. The stock pcv is to small for the edelbrock valve covers, any one know of where to get one that fits?

thanks!

I spoke to edelbrock and they said that the they do not make valve covers that work with aluminum heads.

I have a set of edelbrocks on there, but the only problem is that the oil cap keeps popping off and the stock pcv valve does not fit snug.

I have a edelbrock breather on there now, it has yet to pop off but leaks oil out.

these are the covers the shop put on. Possibly the wrong ones?

If you have a 4.7L engine, they are definitely the wrong ones.
