Alright,
Recently had a shop install edelbrock aluminum heads (cracked the stocks) with Hughes engine 1.6 rockers, edelbrock valve covers and headers.
I got it back today after they fried my coil yesterday and now it,
Smokes oil real bad (which I told them that was a symptom when it was in there)
Leaks oil bad (just keeps dripping when idling and in park and feels like thin oil)
The passenger side valve cover pvc valve doesn't fit snug and moves around (and has steam leaking out.
There is also a consistent clicking sound that increases with revs (sounds like a single rocker/valve?) that was not there before.
ALSO GET THIS, bolts are missing of some things bolted to the firewall. Tire caps are missing; I can only imagine what else is wrong.
I really would like to just get my money back and take it some where else but that’s a far shot.
And I know what they will say, "well it’s supercharged blah blah blah".
Well I took it in there running fine not leaking a drop of oil and only smoking from coolant (you could smell it from cracked heads)
They already tried to make me pay for the msd coil they fried by not having all eight plug wires on.
I am about at wits end with this $750 in labor before tax alone, they had my truck for a month and I get it back and this is the result.
Where’s my jack and coke, I need one now. Please comment on what I should do (its going back in tomorrow morning)

First, calm down. Screaming and accusing just pisses people off, and you'll never get anything fixed. Then, talk to the manager, and see if the two of you can work something out.
The new heads have a smaller combustion chamber, and higher compression ratio. Maybe that was enough to push the used rings over the edge???
Next time, do it yourself.

calmed down now, looked under the hood and felt the back of the driver side valve cover and could feel oil there.
Is there a bigger pvc that i could use with these valve covers?
now if it is the rings, isn't that something they should of checked while the heads were off? I did complain about it smoking when i took it in.
boB. i would of done it myself but it is my daily driver and i work 60 hour weeks.

who referred you to these clowns?
take it back to them and politely tell them that they have 1 week to finish the job properly. then contact the BBB and see if you have any other course of action if they fail to comply with your request.

well it turns out the the clowns is some one i know personaly, and has in the past taken care of me. Used to be the lead tech at the dodge repair shop and now is the shop manager.
He is not the one working on my truck, but i am sure tomarow he will be. Because bolts missing, thats just unprofessional, i could of had my lil brother do it if i wanted to get it back with bolts missing.
I am hoping the change to change the rings wont be much. Also, if it turns out to be my rings, what else should they look at? could my block be bad?

if you are gonna re-ring it, with the new heads you just as soon rebuild the whole bottom end too. especially since you're runnin' boost.
