Message: I have a 1998 Dodge Dakota R/T and i need to replace my speed sensor. The only thing is i have no idea where it is, can anyone help!!!!???? Thanks! NICK

Message: It is on top of the rear differential and incorporated with the rear abs sensor.

Message: The one in / on the rear diff. is the same sensor. Speed sensor controlling your speedo etc. and ABS Sensor controlling your abs system and ABS light on dash etc. It is one part you by for about $40 which controls both.

Message: My abs and brake light came the speedo works fine.Is there another sensor I need to check? Can anyone help??

Message: I just replaced mine this summer. It was attached to the transmission where the cable comes down into it from the instrument cluster. I realized that the nut was just loose when i got down there... I replaced it anyhow.
