Subject: -03 to '04 2wd Suspension Difference?

Why do all suspensions for 2wd Daks end at '03. What changed in '04? Did Dodge go and make another odd year truck that people will never be able to buy parts for? I don't have this problem as I have an '01. Just asking for a friend.

I hear you. I put a Hotchkis TVS on my truck with no problems.

As far as 04's go, beware of GS Motorsports and throttle bodies though, they do not work. The exhaust header primaries are larger in 04, along with some other changes that make the '04 4.7L GS Motorsports kit faulty. The throttle bodies do not work because the NGC idle control is different. This will cause the truck to die on the interstate @ 70+ Mph. I bought a code reader and adjusted the idle screw but this did not help.

My 2004 Dakota has the NGC computer which no one wants to touch. I have talked to several parts dealers(idiots) and they tell me that no one distributes the cables to read the computer. Funny thing is the HEMI is NGC and there are programmers everywhere for that pushrod klunker.
