if you want more power for minimal dollars, go to ebay and buy a 20+ hp resistor for under $20. best mod for your money.

many people fall for that...do not bring that crap here!!
they do work....but only as good as relocating your IAT. They sell you a .10 resistor and tell you to put it in your wire harness to fool the computer into thinking its colder outside...thus adding more fuel.
The only people benefitting are those selling them for 2000% markup

fellas, do you really think im that stupid? those resistors are a total rip off. in case you didnt read between the lines, my post (both of them) are hemmoraging with sarcasm because jay wants as he quotes " to beef up the power a little but cant spend alot".
bolt on hp is not cheap.

all im really looking for is a fairly cheap cam. im sure someone has gotten a cheap cam from someplace, and it worked suprisingly well.

jay, let me enlighten you on someting. a study was recently released showing it cost anywhere from $20 to $30 for each (one) horsepower gained depending on where you get the parts. a cam that's worth anything should get you approx 15 to 30 hp depending on other mods you have. you do the math.

Yep! below is just one example. while this cam didnt net a 30 horsepower gain, it will give you and idea of cost per hp. get your calculator out.

Hey Man, all the stuff that I put on my 95 5.2 I got from www.krcperformance.com. They have anything you need for a Dakota. Spread the word about this guy. They have cams for all your applications and explain which each one is for.
