how do you hook up a code reader to a 5.2L in a 93 dakota cc 4x4? i looked everwhere under the dash, and even under the hood. i dont really have anything wrong with it now, but im damn sure something, someday will go wrong. its a canadian built dakota if that matters.

ok check this out......open the hood.....go to the passenger side of the fire wall.....there shoud be a bunch of wiring harnesses there...dig around and look for a connector in the shape of a fat L that isnt connected to anything...thats it hope this helps

if you turn your key on/off/on/off/on/off/on your truck will flash to you engine codes
like this:
(flash)(flash)(flash) pause (flash)(flash)(flash)
would be engine code 33
