I hope somebody can help me out. I have a 2000 Dakota that I love. When I turn on the headlights, the right headlight is very dim. The left side is normal. This started about two weeks ago and is driving me crazy trying to find the problem. I have replaced the bulb and also the multi-function switch (had a problem with switching highbeam to lowbeam).

That sort of thing is usually caused by a poor ground. Use the service manual to trace the ground point. Take it apart, clean it, put it back together.
