Subject: Won't start in hot weather IP: Logged
Message: 1993 Dakota 4X4 318 Automatic. In winter weather it runs fine. As ambient temp gets warmer the truck just shuts off. It is now 75-80 degrees and the truck won't even start. My 91 and 93 are doing the same thing. No spark, no electric to the engine or components. All electric except what makes it run. Have changed the computer and the engine does not over heat. The 91 is a four cylinder standard transmission. All shops want to do is start replacing till they find it. HELP!

Message: First of check your coil > If it's ok start working backwards from there till you find voltage > You have to be systomatic in these hunting situations or you'll never find it
