Message: Different how? The primary speedo speed is probably Kmh rather than Mph.

Message: I have a 93 and the Factory Service Manual in a couple of places shows electrical diagram being slightly different for Canadian, mainly day running lights. Must be required by law even back then? The first number of your VIN tells where it is made. The #1 is made in USA. The second hopefully is a B which stands for Dodge!

Message: i do have day time running lights. i thought that was kinda weird. i never saw a dakota with them.not a 93 at least. the father in law has a 93 as well, and he was telling me that it was a pain in the azz to pull the oil filter off. but on mine it just drops right down very easy...

Message: Well I'm with your FIL, maybe there is another difference. 93 4x4 3.9 and Filter doesn't drop straight out on mine either. Always a mess, the frame seems to catch more oil than the pan no matter how I try to do it. Hope that putting in a 5.2 will fix it though ;)
