Message: i agree with daddio i just compleated my swap as of now it is running the 318 pcm but that has got to change i am gaining nothing better than what my beat down 318 could do seeing how that i cant git enough fuel to sustain the lower rpms she really likes spitting and sputtering down there expecaly when the pcm has been accidentaly reset good luck i hope when i git my new pmc it does everything i hoped the swap would git me
although the few times it has worked maybe because the pcm is a little better and more adaptable than my older 95 model with the 96 motor

Message: I have a 96 Dodge Ram 4X2 Single Cab.It has a 318 in it and the transmission is gone. The trans is a 3 speed with overdrive button on dash. What other trans will work? Vans,SUV,V6 or 360 trans work without doing any changes?Back in the day some would interchange.

Message: I have a simple question. why all the chst dealing with the injectors, the 3.9, 5.2, 5.9 all have the same injectors which are way the large for any of the applications, factory 23.9 lb per hr rated at 39 fuel rail pressure. from 96 on the regulator is on the fuel pump, everyone I've tested haved had rail pressure at 54 psi, that means the injection volume is close to 26 lb per hr, all are bosh injectors stamped with the chrysler logo. If you crunch the numbers a 19 lb per hr injector rated at 43 psi rail pressure will give close to 21 lb per hr and more then enough fuel to handle 275 hp at 4250 rpms, it seems most of the engine problems are related to flooding fuel that just gets pushed through the cat, engines don't run good flooded

Message: i have a 1992 dodge dakota, believe its the 46rh auto trans, i also
have a 5.9 out of a 1998 half toncan i swap the 1992 5.2 with the
1998 5.9, i know i have to change the pan and a couple other
things but my worry is the torque converter, did the 46rh change
from 92-98 in any way that will make the torque converter not work
