Message: Looking for some help with my 95 Dakota 5.2 auto 4x4 ...no fourth gear/also no OD light either...two codes 45 and 37 I do know what the codes are I would like the Diagnostic tree for these codes(anyone with a factory manual)please e mail me.I just got the transmission rebuilt 5000 miles ago and it doesnt miss a beat or slip just no overdrive or lockup.I think its a Od Module but want to be sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bigjohn.
Message: factors for overdrive are many on these trucks. water temperature sensor, speedo,the switch, and a few other things i cant remember, if any one of those things are broken, it will never shift. i would say its the bypass switch in the dash.
