Message: 99 5.2, auto 4x4, loud clicking noise coming from rear end when i back up or turn, feels like wheel is griping harder and going slower around turns.

Message: I'm not sure if the 4x4's use peg-leg or LSD rear ends. If it is LSD, a fluid change, with friction modifier added, made be in order.

Message: Corporate axles are famous for this. Usually between 60K and 80K miles. I had to rebuild my '95 ram at 75K, and my '01 Dakota at 60K. You did pretty good!

Message: Yep guys i took the diff. apart last night and sure enough theres about 10 metal teeth in the bottom. the damn thing ate itself, new ones on the way
