Located on firewall driver side about straight up over valve cover > Half way up or a bit higher > It isn't defective if clicking > It's jumping and hitting the firewall > Mine is a 99 4 X 4 CC 5.2 > I cleaned the firewall off behind it and stuck the fuzzy side of a strip of velcro to it > End of clicking > For the longest time I thought it was a spark jumping > Good luck
