Will the dental floss work on the Dodge stickers also?
How do I get under them? They seem to be pretty smooth.
And will it leave marks after I remove them?
Will buffing it solve the different shades of paint?

WOW. That was a lot of questions. I need help please.

I took the stickers off with a heat gun, use a little clix to remove leftover glue.
On the metal emblems I wouldn't mess with those. Let a body shop do it
Even on my new truck you could see the glue, we used a little swirl remover and cleaned it, you can use paint thinner to remove glue also. DO NOT USE lacquer thinner.
If your truck is more than a year old I don't recommend doing this, only on new trucks. There will be a faded area where the decal wasn't, you can try and blend it in good luck. The new Dakotas don't have the v8 magnum metal emblem on the front fenders, thank god. My truck is completely debadged.

your best bet is to take a close look at the door jambs and see how faded the paint really is.
If it looks good go ahead with the removal. try a little swirl remover then wax it. if that doesn't work get a little stronger with a very light rubbing compound. This is a gentle process, I have done two new trucks, no older trucks. This is the first thing I do when getting these things.
Although the new trucks are easier and don't require rubbing compound.

use a hammer, and screwdriver, beat the doors and gate it, then call your insurance co. and say it was vandalised! then have it repainted, and tell the shop to leave them off, and save youir deductible!

Good idea!!! But I don't know if I have the balls to hit my truck. I think it'll hurt me instead. You don't understand how mush I baby this thing...

But if I were gonna do it, I don't even pay the deductible?

On my 02, the tailgate decals came off with no heat applied, but the doors required heat to persuade them to come off nicely.
