Message: I recently installed new moog lower ball joints on my 1995 4-wheel drive dakota. After I installed the ball joints I noticed that the protective boots that came with them are too big to fit between the lower control arm and steering knuckle.I called moog tech line and they said that part number on boot and lower ball joint is correct for my dakota.I was wondering if anybody has run into this problem before. The ball joints seem to be correct for my truck.

Message: they will squish down, as long as it fits tight around the ball joint to seal in the grease it should be ok. is the boot on the other side squished down? I just swapped to uppers and one lower on my 94 4x4 had two different boots on the uppers. the boot on the lower just kinda folds inward on itself.
