Subject: popping noise IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 dakota r/t.When I turn right into a uphill drive A loud pop comes from the rear of the truck. Does anyone else have this problem and if so what do i need to do to solve this problem.

Message: body cab mounts. either that or its the cab, or leaf spring front eye bolt... I can remember some kinda TSB on the cab mounts for this though. look under "TSB 2000 Dakota" on google... I dunno where I've seen it, website that is, but I know I've seen it. try to hit the uphill drives a bit straighter, it should help... goodluck.

Message: Sounds like the cab mount as mentioned. If I remember correctly the fix involved removing the two rear cab mount bolts and cutting them shorter then reinstalling them. Don't quote me on the fix though. Check out the TSB first.
