Subject: under-drive crank pulley

Message:
My local speed shop suggested an ASP under-drive crank pulley for my 4.7L dak QC 4X4...has anyone done this to their truck?

I have already done the Air Intake, TB, Headers, and Magna Flow exhaust and will be doing HO Intake and Cams soon..

Short of a Super Charger I don't think there is much more I can do!!

Thoughts?

a mopar PCM upgrade is another thing you can do. or have someone reprogram your PCM. something to think about.

I am from Canada and they test emissions every 2 years...will this affect the "pollution control" of my truck...if I fail the emissions test I don't get to keep my truck on the road!!!

That's why many people prefer Superchips or some other PCM mod. You simply remove it, take the test and replace it. In many cases a reprogramed PCM will pass emmissions. All depends on your standards.
